Our story

The Fabiss Animal Resort's tale started in the spring of 2020, when the pandemic had placed Romania under complete lockdown. Like many other Romanians, I took a temporary retirement to the countryside, where I spent one of the most idyllic times of my life growing up in my grandparents' home in Pădureni commune.

A chilly March evening found me sipping hot tea next to my little girl Fabiana, the raging Azorel in her arms and the kitten Plușica purring at the mouth of the old stove. That's when the IDEA struck. The concept of constructing a STORY around a childhood setting.

Because we love all animals very much, we have always had to struggle to find a place for our beloved animals to stay each time we wanted to go somewhere. I was sure that many of us faced the same problem when the time came for a vacation or a business trip. To be safe and cared for but also pampered - these are the priorities for each of us! We wanted the time we were away to be beneficial for them and carefree for us.

I gave her a piece of paper and some pencils and asked her to imagine a wonderful place. A place where all the animals in the world can feel loved and pampered, where children can come to play, and where both hardworking and homely people from the commune, as well as all friends, acquaintances or close ones can join together in a project for the community. As if it were from a FAIRYTALE..

And that's how it ALL started...

Our social mission

The mission of our social enterprise is to create an ecosystem built on empathy and responsibility, transforming the relationship between people and animals into a driving force for education and community support.

We aim to be more than just a resort for animals, becoming an educational and social resource center built on three main pillars:

1. Education and development for children and young people
We cultivate healthy behaviors among children and young people through interactive activities focused on animal psychology and behavior. By teaching them to understand the language and needs of animals, we contribute to the development of emotional intelligence, patience, and a sense of responsibility, while also preventing abandonment and acts of cruelty.

2. Socialization center for the community
We provide a welcoming and safe space where animal lovers can connect, share experiences, and build a united community. We believe that dialogue and a shared passion for animal welfare are the foundation of a more harmonious society.

3. Facilitating responsible adoptions
We act as a bridge between stray animals and their adoptive families. We allocate resources for temporary shelter, recovery, and active promotion of abandoned animals, ensuring that every adoption process is transparent and professional.

Our ultimate goal
To demonstrate that a business can be profitable while also contributing to the development of more responsible community members and reducing the number of homeless animals.
